Karoo's main slogan is, "With Karoo you're always there for childhood moments, big or small." I think that this app is helpful because it is about the good things that happened during the day. It is so parents and caregivers can stay connected. The cool think about this is that grandparents and other family members can also look at it, and check to see what there little loved one are doing. This is a free app, that allows you to upload as much as you want from feedings, to naps, videos and pictures. Karoo is a safe app because it is up to you, the parent who can see your child profile. This is a great app for busy families, you never miss out on what is going on, and special moments.

Daily Connect

Daily Connect is a great app that can be used by both childcare centers and at home daycare's. It does away with old paper daily sheets and uses an app to be able to update information when it occurs. Parents can check in on there infant or toddler and see how many times they have been changed or fed, what there mood is like and even has a spot to upload pictures. Daily connect is  not a free app it costs $4.99 to use. With this you get support help from the app along with adding it to as many devices as you want. I think it it worth the money, and saving the trees to use this app!

App. #6 ABC Pocket Phonics

ABC Pocket Phonics

ABC Pocket Phonic is a $7.00 app that is great if your child or student is having trouble forming letters, or connecting letters with the sounds they make. It is an interactive app that uses a stylist or a finger to trace over a letter. It has a progression on it that when the letter has been traced over enough times the dashed lines go away, and a child must draw it from memory. You get a lot with this app because after letters and sounds are know the app can be used to help spell words and read words. This app would be good for at home and also in a classroom.

App. #5 Remind 101

Remind101

Remind 101 is a safe classroom app that allows teachers to communicate with parents. Teachers can send our reminders, assessments, notes, and emotional boosters with this easy to use app. It can be used to remind parents to bring diapers or wipes if used in a daycare, it could remind everyone of a choir or band concert in case a parent forgot. This app is a safe way to communicate because all messages are one way, and there is no phone number being used.  This is a nice app for parents to have because they can easily check in and see what their child's classroom is doing. There is an option to receive notifications every time the app is updated by the teacher, but this can be turned off at the parent’s disposal.

CLASS DOJO

This is a great app for teachers and parents as a way to monitor behavior in the classroom. It gives instant feedback to a parents phone, which notifies them if they have good or bad behavior. Each student is allowed to pick there own avatar, and they know that when they hear it "ding" it means that someone has done something outstanding in their behavior. The cool thing about this app is that it is anonymous until the child looks at there own account on there parent's device. Then it will tell them if they were the one who had good behavior or if they were naughty that day, This is a hassle free way to relay information to parents on classroom behaviors.

ABC PHONICS

ABC phonics is an application that teaches the ABC's in a fast paste method. It uses sight sound and tough to help children learn the ABC's. As a teacher to be, I think that this is a great app, because it doesn't focus on letter recognition alone. It uses phonics and letter sound as a way to teach the letters. It offers an unique way of learning. This is by being able to record your own voice, and add in your own pictures to build bonds between what the child is looking at and what they are trying to learn.

App #2: Google Quick Class

QUICK CLASS

Google Classroom or Quick Class gives teachers a way to reach their students at home in a more Eco friendly way. Instead of worrying about a piece of paper, students can have their assignments saved to Quick Class and then they can access it from anywhere. This gives teachers more time teaching because they do not have to hand out and collect assignments. This app would be great for grades 3-12. Something negative about this app is that teachers cannot use it on their own, they have to have access through an administer.

ABC mouse is a great free app that can help children of all ages prefect and learn their letters, numbers, animals, through fun interactive games and songs. ABC mouse covers reading, math, science, colors, art, and music. This app is unique in the way, that you can buy it, or if you play it enough you earn tokens that unlock new levels and new games. Each new level gives you a new letter or number.
